Taking years off my life
I am the proud mother of a very clumsy child. I keep expecting her to grow out of it, but that has yet to happen. And since I am not the most co-ordinated person on the planet, it may never happen. Over the past 3 days, we have had 2 major incidents that are seriously taking years off my life. On Saturday, Keira decided to use her piano stool to stand on (it is about 6 inches tall, maybe - not very tall) in the kitchen to get something off the counter. It moved while she was standing on it, she fell off and bit her lip, inside and out. There was a decent amount of blood pretty much everywhere, but she was ok. Poor thing had a nice fat lip for several hours though. Then tonight, she hopped off the chair at the dining room table to get something that had fallen to the floor, somehow tripped and hit her head of the ledge of the window. Instant, massive size goose egg. Again, she is ok, will likely have a nice bruise, but still ok. I don't know where to enroll this child in sports or dance so she can learn some coordination or keep her as far away from those things as possible!

Oh no, poor Kiera! I vote gymnastics. Elena's coordination has improved considerably. It's worth a try. Though I think at this age they're just accident-prone.
