Pics of Mallory

Mallory is 13 weeks old already and getting big. According to our big scale, she is about 14 pounds. She is smiling, giggling, talking, and grasping objects and putting them in her mouth. She desperately wants to be a thumb sucker but hasn't quite figured it out yet.

Keira is 4!

Keira turned 4 last week! Hard to believe, I know! Where does the time go?!? She requested a princess beach party, so a princess beach party is what we had. There were grass skirts, princess hats, sunglasses, and leis! There were also about 13 4 year olds running around - the house was crazy. But they all had a lot of fun playing Find the Snow White's Poison Apple, Sleeping Beauty Freeze Dance, and Pin Flounder on Ariel! Here is a picture of Keira all dressed up on her big day.



This picture below is similar to the above except that she has her princess hat on. I didn't realize when I bought these princess hats that they would make her look like a gnome. And I have this weird thing about gnomes ... hate them, they seriously creep me out! Would never have bought those hats had I thought about it!




Keira picked out this gigantic castle cake. I made the mistake of telling her she could pick out anything she wanted from the book at the store. I should have previewed the book first. So this was the one she picked ... $38 later ... YIKES! But what do you do? She only turns 4 once!

Overall, it was a great day. Keira loved it and mommy and daddy were exhausted after it was all over and it was only a 2 hour party!

Two deals for you ...

so I know, I haven't posted any good deals in months ... here's two for you ...

1. In the paper today there was a coupon for $2.50 off Finish dishwashing gel packs. They are on sale at WAGS for $3.49 with a $1 RR back, so FREE!!!

2. Not sure if this is just an Olathe thing or not, but our Chick fil a is having a free breakfast item every morning for the entire month of January. Tomorrow is a free Chicken Egg and Cheese Bagel, Yum! Breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM - so plenty of time to go. I likely will be there on thursday to celebrate Keira being back in school (finally!) ... and its free Cinnamon Cluster day!

Christmas Socks

My mom decided to buy all of us christmas socks this year. Here are all our feet minus Mallory - she was sleeping and socks don't stay on her feet anyway! As a side note, don't ever buy socks that have "toes". Seriously, they creeped me out - I couldn't keep these socks on, they just felt super weird!

Playing in the snow

Well, I am not sure that playing in the snow is really the correct title for this post, maybe eating the snow would be a better title! Mostly all Keira wanted to do was eat it! Crazy kid. For those of you not in the area - it started snowing Christmas Eve and we got probably 6 or 8 inches. So a nice white Christmas. Now, I just wish it would go AWAY!!! Here are some pics from our first outing in the snow!

Christmas Cookies

One of our favorite christmas traditions is making cookies! Keira could really do it all by herself this year. She rolled the dough (with a little help), cut out the cookies and decorated them all! Here are some pics!
