We did what?!?
So we did what I believe to be a right of passage during parenthood ... we bought a swingset. While I am super excited about the swingset, I know Keira will love it, we bought it at TRU which does not offer installation services (and believe me, I offered up the cash!). So it looks like the we'll be putting this monstrosity together ourselves. Fun, yeah, fun. Wade, of course, is supremely confident that it will be no problem. Ha! So yesterday we spent about 2.5 hours just sorting and labeling. None of the wood was labeled, so it took about an hour to label it all. Then we spent about an hour and a half sorting all of the hardware - we decided to create a baggie for each step and place all the hardware needed for each step in the baggie (hmm, someone has a type A personality here, don't they? ) I figured it would be much easier to grab one baggie per step than try to sort through it all at the time of construction. So, I'll keep you updated on our progress and post some pics when we are done. But don't hold your breath, it may be awhile ;)

Good Luck! We have one sitting in our gargage.... Lucky for us Grandpa Rasche has put one together before so they got one for Caleb for Christmas / Birthday and are going to come and put it together.... I'm still nervous as where we are putting it is a slight hill.
My mission is now to find something safe and affordible to put underneath it! I want the rubber but that is pricing out way above my price range (so far I have found it for more than a couple grand for the area I want... I'm wondering if they are telling me I need way to much) Let me know how it goes!
You're hilarious! That sounds like quite a lot of work before the work even begins. You should definitely take a lot of pictures!
If it means anything, it took a couple hours for us to put up our swingset and my husband is a builder! And, I should mention, it was already more than half put together because we bought it used.
